Maybe this is old hat to many of you, but I just figured this out today :)  This is also my first attempt at a tutorial (my hubby made me do it...his email will be sent on request if you don't like it:)) Anyways, if this is not clear, let me know and I will try to clarify where necessary.

Step 1.  Decide on the image you would like to use, and make note of the path (where the image is stored, i.e. C;/My Documents/sigtag.jpg.  If you use a nifty little program called Path Copy you can simply right click on the image and choose Copy...Long Path.

Step 2.  Open Notepad or your favorite Text Editor, and type in:

<HTML>

Step 3.  Type:  <img src="the path to where your image is stored">

Step 4.  Type:  </HTML>

Notice in my example that the width and height of the image is in mine.  That is not necessary, just something that my text editor HTML Kit adds for me:)

So your finished image should resemble the above.  You may not have the width and height in yours, this is something my text editor adds.

Step 5.  Save your finished document where you can find it again with the .html extension.  This will not show up automatically in notepad so you must type it in, i.e. mysigtag.html and be sure to save it somewhere you will be able to find it again.

Step 6.  Open Outlook Express...Tools....Options

Browse to Signatures.  The part we are concerned with is at the bottom.  Check the File button as I have and then click on Browse.

Make sure that you have All Files Selected, or the html files will not show up on the list.  Now browse to where you just saved your html file and hightlight it.

Now highlight the file you just saved.  Click OK and you are done :) Now your special sigtag will show up on all your outgoing mail.  If you have any questions, please feel free to email me :)
