to

Okay
here
we
go!
Right
click
on
the
blue
and
gold
macaw
image
and
save
it
to
your
hard
drive.
Now
open
that
image
in
PSP.
Press
Shift
+
D
twice
to
duplicate
the
image
twice.
Now
minimize
one
of
the
images
we
will
be
working
on
that
later.
Now
go
to
Image/Resize/Pixel
Size
315
x
315
-
Uncheck
the
Maintain
Ration
Aspect
box.
Now
go
to
Effects/Artistic
Effects/Brush
Strokes.
In
the
preset
box
select
Impasto.
Select
a
color
from
the
image...
I
chose
#C1AB85.

Go
To
Edit/Copy.
Then
Press
Shift
+
D
to
duplicate
the
image
again:)
Now
go
To
Image/Mirror
and
then
Image/Flip.
Now
go
to
Image/Arithmetic.
Select
both
the
images
with
the
following
settings:
Function
=
Add
All
Channels
ticked
Divisor
=
1
Bias
=
-3
Clip
Color
checked
Save
as
Curtains.psp
You
can
close
the
two
images
now
that
you
did
the
arithmetic
with.
Now
go
to
Effects/Texture
Effects/Blinds
with
these
settings

Opacity

Color
#5A3221
(dark
brown)
Uncheck
Horizontal
&
Light
from
left/top
Click
OK
Now
Save
again
and
then
Edit/Copy
then
Shift
+
D
and
minimize
curtain.psp
on
your
desktop.
Working
on
the
new
image
right
click
and
Promote
to
Layer.
Image/Rotate
-
Left
90
degrees
Effects/Geometric
Effects/Circle
Set
Selection
Tool
to
Rectangle
Double
click
on
the
Selection
Tool
icon
and
enter
the
following
settings:
Left
=
0
Right
=
315
Top
=
0
Bottom
=
160
Hit
Delete
button
to
remove
the
top
portion
of
the
circle.
Select
Deformation
Tool
and
move
the
swag
to
the
top
of
the
screen.
Choose
the
center
bottom
handle
and
using
the
ruler
on
the
left
hand
side
as
a
guide,
push
the
base
line
up
to
100.
Use
the
Selection
Tool
to
draw
a
rectangle
around
the
swag.
Image/Crop
to
Selection.
Save
As
-
Swag.psp
Now
open
the
minimized
image
of
the
Macaw
parrot
the
second
one
that
we
minimized
at
first.
Image
/resize/
percent
of
original
Enter
75%
in
both
boxes.
Then
to
Effects/Sharpen/Sharpen.
Now
to
Effects/Emboss
Works/Soft
Glass.
Use
the
default
settings.

Now
go
to
Effects/Geometric/Pinch
and
set
the
degree
at
99%.
Now
add
a
new
layer.
Select
your
draw
tool
with
these
settings.
Foreground
White,
Background
null

Now
holding
down
your
shift
key
starting
at
293,0
draw
a
straight
line
down
to
the
bottom
of
the
graphic.
Then
at
coordinates
0,156
hold
down
your
shift
key
and
draw
a
straight
line
across
your
graphic.
Select
Your
Magic
Wand
Settings
feather
0
Tolerance
0
and
select
the
white
lines.
Now
go
to
Effects/Texture/Sculpture.
Use
the
Mahogany
preset
with
the
default
settings.
Now
activate
your
First
layer
again
and
add
a
new
layer.
Now
with
your
air
brush
at
these
settings

Spray
some
white
around
in
the
"panes"
to
add
highlights
to
the
glass.

Now
go
to
Effects/Blur/Gaussian
Blur
and
set
it
at
15.
Merge
All
Layers
and
name
it
Window.
Add
a
border
of
5
color
of
choice
-
I
choose blue
#7F95E3
Select
your
magic
wand
and
select
the
boarder.
Go
to
Effects/3D
Effects/Inner
Bevel
and
use
the
pillow
preset.
Now
add
another
boarder
of
10
color
white.
Using
your
magic
wand
select
it
and
then
go
to
Images/Effects/Other
Filters/Flaming
Pear/Super
Blade
Pro
and
apply
the
1d
etched
orange
preset.
Now
is
a
good
time
to
save
this
as
Bird.psp.
Now
to
add
the
curtains
to
our
window.
Restore
Curtain.psp
image.
Set
Selection
Tool
to
Rectangle
Double
Click
on
the
Selection
Tool
icon
and
enter
the
following
settings:
Left
=
90
Right
=
180
Top
=
0
Bottom
=
315
Edit/Copy
(Ctrl+C)
Click
on
the
Bird.psp
to
make
it
the
active
image
and
then
Paste
as
New
Layer
(Ctrl+L)
Move
the
curtain
to
the
bottom
left
hand
corner.
Rename
layer
-
left
curtain.
Right
click
on
left
curtain
layer
and
duplicate
-
Rename
new
layer
-
right
curtain.
Image/Mirror.
Save
Bird.psp
and
then
close
Curtain.psp
image.
Restore
Swag.psp
image.
Edit/Copy
(Crtl+C)
Click
on
Bird.psp
to
make
it
the
active
layer
and
then
Paste
as
New
Layer
(Ctrl+L)
Move
swag
to
the
top
of
the
screen,
using
the
ruler
to
position
the
left
hand
side
at
150.
Rename
layer
-
center
swag
Effects/3D
Effects/Drop
Shadow
with
the
following
settings:
Vertical
=
10
Horizontal
=
0
Opacity
=
58
Blur
=
21.2
Duplicate
center
swag
layer
and
move
the
swag
to
the
left
with
the
right
hand
side
positioned
at
305
on
the
ruler.
Re-name
this
layer
-
left
swag.
Duplicate
left
swag
layer
and
re-name
-
right
swag.
Image/Mirror.
Save
then
close
Swag.psp.
Add
new
raster
layer
and
name
curtain
deco.
Select
Text
Tool
with
color
white
for
both
Stroke
&
Fill.
Select
Bold,
Floating
and
Antialias
checked.
I
used
Borderbats
Fleur2,
size
40
-
letters
uppercase
Y,
Z

Move
decoration
to
center
top
of
the
swags.
Keep
selected.
Effects/Plugin-Filters/Flaming
Pear/Super
Blade
Pro
-
select
Candy
Wrapper
Yellow
from
the
Flaming
Pear
Presets.
Save.
Select
the
Lasso
Tool/Point
to
Point/Feather
0/Antialias
Unchecked.
Trace
around
the
inside
of
the
curtains
until
you
have
the
marching
ants
all
around.
This
does
not
have
to
be
perfect.
Do
Not
Deselect.
On
Toolbar
go
to
Selections/Modify/Contract
3/Ok.
Do
Not
Deselect.
Go
the
the
Birds
layer
on
the
Layer
Palette
and
Duplicate.
Toolbar
Effects/Texturizer/crystalize
and
set
at
100
and
17.
Light
Direction/Top
Left.
Invert
unchecked.
Tool
Options/Eraser.
Shape/Round
Size
5
Hardness
13
Opacity
100
Step
25
Density
100
Buildup/unchecked
*Hint-*
-Zoom
up
the
size
of
the
image
for
better
detail
on
your
erasure
work.
Clean
up
those
areas
of
image
that
you
want
to
stand
out,
to
emphasize.
Try
to
stay
in
the
lines
of
those
areas
for
nice
crisp
edges.
Now
you
may
Deselect.
Merge
All
Layers
and
then
save
as
a
.jpg
image.
That
is
it

done.
